It would be a shame to come to see the area and not see the ERIE CANAL.
I grew up in Fairport, NY which is a charming village that lies along the Erie Canal.
I absolutely love the canal, walking the towpath and the village of Fairport. You will too!
It is just 16 miles or a 24-minute drive from The Nest Cottage.
