Tropical Smoothie Café: 927 Holt Road 6.9mi. (585)872-1975 TSC is new to town. My oh my, their Smoothies are so good! I asked and they do add sugar…that is why they are so darn good. There are options that say “naturally sweetened” They are a little lower in calories without the added sugar.

Just one pancake is the size of a dinner plate!
Mamma Lor’s: 1891 Ridge Road 10.8mi. (585)545-4895 This restaurant is a favorite of my daughter, Amanda and her boyfriend, Jon’s. It is a great spot for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Be sure to check the board for specials. Lor is an absolute doll.
T’s Family Restaurant: 950 Ridge Road 5.7mi. (585)671-9004 A nice, clean diner with a great Gyro. If I love something at a Restaurant; then, I always order the same thing every time I go. I am kind of boring like that. Michael is always trying something new. I just want what I know I like.
The Village Bakery: 44 E. Main Street 7.8mi. (585)280-1040 popular hang-out spot-coffee, breakfast and lunch. My girlfriends always want to meet here. It’s good; but a little loud when you’re trying to have a chat.

(585)544-3670 Our Favorite Brewery Pick! Our son, Austin’s has a darling girlfriend, Jackie. Jackie’s brother, Bobby is a Brew Master at IBC. The beer is delish and so is the food. a charming restored barn with cozy indoor dining; as well as a large heated outdoor patio. My go-to pick on the beer menu is: #7-Red Girl Rye Pale Ale.
Abbott’s Frozen Custard: 2195 Empire Blvd 4.9mi. (585)671-6365 Yum! Frozen Custard is so rich and creamy. I have an itch to have one every Summer.
Bruster’s Real Ice Cream: 1041 Ridge Road 7.0mi. (585)872-4690 Our Pick: Best Ice Cream! Their homemade ice cream is so delish. We buy a quart and keep it in the frig. Dangerous, I know.

For Take-out my pick is the Potato Skins. I am usually wanting them during Football Season. No, I am not a Buffalo Bill’s Fan (Michael is). I am a New Orleans Saints Fan. “Who Dat?”
Hooligan’s Eastside Grill: 809 Ridge Road 4.9mi. (585)671-7180 Our Favorite Sports Bar Pick! This is where you go if you want to watch a Sporting Event or a Game. There is a huge bar, a large dining room with ample booths and an outdoor patio. It serves a good burger and wood-fired pizza. I always ordered the Artichoke French.
Roc Style Chicken & Burger: 5 W. Main Street 7.5mi. (585)236-1902 If chicken isn’t your thing, they do a good gourmet burger with a bacon jam. Yes, bacon is a hit on anything for me. Bacon + Jam=Winning!
DeBella’s: 1900 Empire Blvd. 5.1mi. (585)787-1320 Sometimes I just want a good Deli Submarine. My pick: The Godfather Italian Sub + a bag of Lays.
Rustic Taco: 153 Lake Road 7.1mi. (585)545-4335 Our weekly Take-Out Spot. We almost always order: The Craft Cheeseburger Taco and The Sober Spicy Shrimp Taco. Honestly, everything on the menu is delish. Outside tables are available. It is just over the County Line in Ontario. Worth the Drive.

For Sushi: Taka House Japanese Restaurant: Trisha’s Pick! 809 Ridge Road 6.1mi. (585)671-8520 When it is my turn to choose; I always choose Sushi from Taka House. My order is: (1) #110-Mountain Roll, (1) #111-Mango Roll, (1-2) #112-Bubba Gump (Oh, my absolute favorite!) and (1) #116-Webster Roll. They always say, “Ready in 10 minutes” So yummy in my tummy!
For Mexican: Monte Alban 2245 Empire Blvd. 5.0mi. (585) 787-4700 We usually eat there so we can order Margaritas. We like the Cadillac Margarita with Grand Marnier and I always order the Enchiladas de Mole! Oh, they are so good!
For Thai: Seasoning Thai Bistro 657-Ridge Road 4.9mi. (585) 347-6728 This is our go-to when Austin and Jackie come for a visit and we all want Take-Out Thai food.
